Before a festival production reaches the stage, there’s plenty of work behind the scenes\. Bamboo Crew joined the team at Cardington Studios in Bedfordshire to help with the load\-in and rehearsal setup for Fontaines D\.C\.’s A\-stage and B\-stage production for Reading and Leeds\.
Our short clip captures a glimpse inside the hangar, with equipment across the production floor and the illuminated stage setup beyond\. It offers a look at the preparation that takes place before a production heads out to the festival site\.
For Bamboo Crew, the job was about providing practical support alongside the technical team: helping load equipment in and getting the rehearsal setup into place\.
The people made it a particularly good day\. We had a great crew on the job, and the technicians were fantastic to work alongside—helpful, approachable and generous with their guidance as the setup progressed\. That cooperation makes a real difference when different teams come together on a production\.
A big thank you to our crew and everyone we worked with at Cardington\. We were pleased to play our part in the preparations\.
Based in Rugby, Warwickshire, Bamboo Crew supplies event, stage and site crew across the UK, supporting rehearsal load\-ins, production builds, festival work and venue changeovers\.
