BAMBOO JOURNAL / CREW GUIDE

PLAN THE LOAD-IN. BRIEF THE LOAD-OUT.

Simple planning points for crew calls at venues, studios and event sites.

The load-out deserves its own brief. The work, timing and crew requirement can differ from the load-in, particularly when trucks, departments and venue access have to be coordinated.

Separate the calls

List each shift, reporting time and expected finish. Include rehearsal or show-day support separately so the whole schedule can be assessed before the booking is confirmed.

Share the truck and department plan

Explain where vehicles report, what is arriving and who directs each department. Crew need a clear reporting line and an agreed scope alongside the wider production team.

Identify the handling requirement

Flag forklift or telehandler work in the brief rather than assuming a general crew booking includes an operator. Specify the equipment and required qualification so the right person can be allocated.

Keep changes visible

If venue access, truck arrival or finish times change, tell your crew supplier promptly. Revised times can affect availability and the booking arrangements.

Bamboo supports load-ins, load-outs and production calls, with machine operators agreed against the requirements.
