Before the music starts, the stage has to take shape. Bamboo Crew worked on the construction of a Layher stage for Hospitality in the Woods at Beckenham Place Park in South London.
Our short behind-the-scenes video captures several stages of the build, from the framework and stage deck through to the roofed structure. It shows the practical work behind an outdoor festival stage, with crew assembling components and working on the steelwork before the event.
For Bamboo Crew, this was a stage-build job: hands-on construction as part of the wider preparation for the festival. Our contribution was hands-on crew support for the Layher stage construction.
Hospitality in the Woods brought its drum and bass festival to Beckenham Place Park on 19 August 2023. The footage’s opening title also identifies Beckenham Place Park and August 2023, followed later by Hospitality signage.
